Helping a supply chain platform enter the pharmaceutical market.
A software provider needed to expand into a complex new sector quickly. DevStack added senior delivery capacity and helped bring a new pharmaceutical supply chain platform to market on schedule.
// the outcome
- The client entered the pharmaceutical market within its target timetable.
- Buyers and suppliers gained clearer visibility of their supply chain relationships.
- The platform created a scalable base for further sector growth and product development.
The challenge
The client had identified an opportunity in the pharmaceutical sector, but entering the market required more than adapting an existing product. The platform needed to make complex supplier relationships easier to understand, support detailed assessments and give buyers and suppliers better visibility across the supply chain.
The commercial timetable was fixed and the internal team did not have enough capacity to deliver the new product alone. Recruiting and onboarding a permanent team would have slowed the launch and added unnecessary overhead.
What we did
DevStack joined the client’s existing team and became part of its day-to-day delivery process. Our role was not simply to supply extra hands. We brought experienced people who could understand the product, make decisions quickly and take responsibility for meaningful parts of the build.
Together, we delivered a platform covering supply chain mapping, supplier audits, document management, workflow automation and clearer reporting for buyers and suppliers.
